About Us

We are a full-service architecture and interior design studio founded in 2003 and based in San Francisco. We provide comprehensive services from programming and feasibility studies through conceptual design, construction documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Our work spans residential, commercial, institutional, transportation, and civic projects of all scales. We believe architecture is the thoughtful composition of form, space, light, and material. Rather than defining design, materials and systems should reinforce the architectural vision while responding to context, sustainability, and the human experience.

Through an iterative and collaborative design process, we create architecture that is purposeful, enduring, and meaningful—making every space matter.

  • Wing Lee, RA, LEED AP BD+C

    ARCHITECT, PRINCIPAL-IN-CHARGE



    Wing Lee holds degrees in Architecture and Graphic Design and brings decades of experience in architecture, interior design, and urban planning. Before founding his own practice, he served as a senior architectural designer and architect at several leading architecture and interior design firms in San Francisco, contributing to a wide range of healthcare, corporate, public, and residential projects of varying scales.

    In 2000, Wing was the award-winning team that won the Housing the Next Ten Million in Central California design competition. Since 2007, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts, where he mentors the next generation of designers and architects.

    Wing's professional leadership extends beyond practice and education. In 2008, he was appointed by the Mayor of San Francisco to serve on the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the San Francisco Hunters Point Shipyard Redevelopment, helping guide one of the city's most significant redevelopment initiatives. Since 2009, he has also served as a Commissioner for the California Architects Board's Architect Supplemental Examination, contributing to the licensure and professional standards of architects throughout California.

  • Aimee Chan, AAIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB

    CONSULTING ARCHITECT / DESIGNER


    Aimee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. With more than 20 years of experience in the design industry, she brings deep expertise across interior design, workplace and campus planning, master planning, and architectural design. Her work is driven by a passion for creating environments that support healthcare, research, and education, fostering innovation, collaboration, and human well-being. She is equally committed to creating residential environments that provide a sense of respite, comfort, and renewal, enhancing the quality of everyday life.

    Dedicated to advancing the profession and mentoring future designers, Aimee has taught design studios at both the University of California, Berkeley and the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco (AFSF), where she champions mentorship, education, and community initiatives that inspire, support, and empower the next generation of design leaders.

  • Darren Barboza, RA, LEED AP BD+C

    CONSULTING ARCHITECT



    Darren Barboza holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and participated in the Washington Alexandria Architecture Consortium, an internationally recognized design program. He began his career at Leo A. Daly, where he served as a designer on the award-winning center dedicated to the life of Pope John Paul II.

    Darren later returned to his hometown of San Francisco and joined Handel Architects, where he was a key member of the design team for the Millennium Tower and Jessie Square Plaza. Both projects represent significant contributions to San Francisco's urban fabric and played an important role in the city's broader efforts to revitalize the downtown core.

    Beyond his professional practice, Darren is committed to serving the community through volunteer work with the Larkin Street Youth Center. The organization has an exceptional record of helping young people transition out of homelessness by providing the support, resources, and life skills needed to build stable, independent futures.
